A lecture by Prof. Dr. Heinz-Jürgen Voß, Hochschule of Merseburg
We need to talk – also about biological sex. This becomes very evident if one looks at the current debates in the media. For: In biology it has been clear for a long time that there is more than two forms of expressions that the genital tract can have. Rather it is fact that genitals are individually and diversely formed. But the popular view is a rather delayed one. Heinz-Jürgen Voß is listing reasons for that circumstance, educates about the development of biological sex and shows pedagogical approaches that get the biology right and slowly but surely make their way into schools.
The lecture will be held in German and is organized in cooperation with the ZfG.
