Workshop and Open Questionround
Autistic people, ADHDers and other neurodivergent people experience a lot of violence and exclusion in our society, which is focused on performance, function and usability. A real exchange about the realities of life and needs rarely takes place, because most of the time people do not talk with, but about those affected. This leads, among other things, to the fact that the widespread idea of neurodivergence consists almost exclusively of clichés and prejudices. From the perspective of a multiply affected person, I would like to clear up misconceptions, convey a picture of neurodivergence that is as true to reality as possible, and point out approaches for a more inclusive world. Following a lecture phase, there may be room for questions and exchange.
