The term has it\u2018s stem in sociocracy:
A decision is valid as long as no one has any objections.
Also known as permission to engage in sexual activities, if all parties are safe, sane and of age.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>

EMPOWERMENT<\/svg><\/div>

is everything that gives a person a sense of power – although and in spite of discrimination and regardless of perceived powerlessness. Empowerment can also mean of one\u2018s self and (re)gaining agency over action, even in discriminatory situations and circumstances. Through empowerment the own power can be felt (again) and allies found.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div><\/div>

ENDO<\/svg><\/div>

People who are not inter. That is, persons who have a body that conforms to normative notions of gender.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>

GENDER<\/svg><\/div>

describes the individual identity and social role of an individual in society and the assassment of that role by others. Originally sex and gender were thoght to be co-dependend of one another and it was callenged that a change could be made. Gendering is a process in which a person is perceived through gender and defined and treated as such.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div><\/div>

GENDERGAP_ \/ STAR*<\/svg><\/div>

The gender gap (underscore) represents a linguistic intervention that aims to leave room for other gender identities alongside the dualism of man and woman. Through a break in the linguistic image, gap and asterisk are intended to disrupt the flow of reading. It is relevant in the german language since there\u2018s always two genders to be refered to. This is intended to repeatedly point out that there are other genders beyond the socially recognized dual gender.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>

H<\/div>
HEGEMONIC MASCULINITY<\/svg><\/div>

\n

describes behavior and structures that place men, and especially endocis men, above other people. This happens, among other things, through mackishness, dominant speech behavior, logocentrism, devaluation of feelings and the minimization of discrimination. Hegemonic male behavior does not have to be carried out by endocis men, but can be carried out by any person.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div><\/div>

HETERONORMATIVITY<\/svg><\/div>

\n

The term heteronormativity refers to the fact that the binary and supposedly unambiguous two-genderedness and heterosexuality represent the norm in our society. Through this power structure, all those are devalued who locate themselves beyond the two-genderedness, or whose bodies do not correspond to the sexist norm. And all those who break with the idea that men and women desire each other heterosexually, for example by becoming lesbians.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>

INTER<\/svg><\/div>

\n

(lat. \u201ebetween\u201c) Inter, intersex or also intergender are persons whose bodies deviate from the normative idea of bisexual bodies. These terms are self-definitions, while the term \u201eintersexuality\u201c was coined from a medical pathologizing perspective. Based on medical assessment and legal order, the bodies of inter persons are often violently adapted to the image of binary bisexuality shortly after their
birth by means of surgery, hormone administration and socialization.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div><\/div>

INTERSECTIONALITY<\/svg><\/div>

\n

With an intersectionality approach, the interweaving and intersection of different power relations and structural forms of discrimination in various fields of research and life can be assumed, which can then be considered and analyzed together. \u2026 Examples are the connection between classism, racism and rejectionism.
With an intersectional perspective, it can sometimes be possible to make multiple discriminations and the consequences arising from the intersection of the individual forms of discrimination visible.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>

N<\/div>
NEURODIVERSITY<\/svg><\/div>

\n

The term neurodiversity refers to the variety of human forms of existence due to different neurological functions. In the case of neurological functions that deviate from the norm, there is also the term neurodivergent\/ neurodivergence. In contrast, individuals whose neurological functions conform to social norms are neurotypical.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div><\/div>

NON-BINARY<\/svg><\/div>

Enby for short.
Persons who locate themselves outside of hegemonic bisexuality. The reality of life of non-binary persons is diverse, they can be cis\/trans and endo\/inter at the same time.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>

PATRIARCHY<\/svg><\/div>

\n

describes a social system of social relations of male domination. If one speaks of a patriarchal society, this means a society in which the domination of endocis-men over womenLesbiansInterTransNonbinary is institutionalized and manifested. In patriarchal structures, the feminine is structurally subordinate to the masculine. Patriarchy is a violent social structure that must be fought.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div><\/div>

PRONOUNS<\/svg><\/div>

\n

are designations of persons in the third person. There is a wide range of different pronouns, such as \u201athey\u2018, \u201ait\u2018, \u201ahe\u2018 among others, but also the possibility that persons do not want a pronoun for themselves or use their own name as pronoun. Pronouns cannot be read from bodies, but can only be found out by asking questions. Simply assigning a pronoun to another person is violent. Accordingly, until 1 asks, it is then better to use the person\u2018s name instead of pronouns.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>

SELFDEFINITION<\/svg><\/div>

In (endo-cis) heteronormativity, genders, sexualities, etc. are attributed and assigned to other persons. The possibility of self-definitions, for example in gender, sexuality, pronouns, etc., is a counter-design to the violent structure of other-definitions.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div><\/div>

Sexism as a structural power system is a social reality, it is institutionally anchored and individually internalized. Sexism is the result of an opposing distinction and biologization of exactly two genders, to each of which different abilities are attributed and which are hierarchized. TRANS<\/svg><\/div>

(lat. \u201ebeyond\u201c, \u201eacross\u201c)
Trans is understood as a generic term for all persons for whom the lived gender is not a compelling consequence of the gender assigned at birth, or who cannot or do not want to identify with this. In addition, people who live their gender identity beyond the two-gender order describe themselves as trans*.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>
